THANK YOU ALL FOR A SUCCESSFUL TECH WEEK AND FINAL DRESS REHEARSAL!
A few (okay, maybe more than a few....) notes from today:
DANCERS:
Please do not wear earrings to the theater. You may not wear them in the performance, so it is best to leave them at home so they do not get lost.
Everyone check the drawstrings on your ballet shoes. Drawstrings should be tucked or cut, so they do not show during the performance.
Anyone who has a Quick Change (two roles in Act 1), please put your quick change items in a bag marked with your name.
If you have multiple roles, you need to find your first role chaperone and stay with them. If you begin with party or battle, first go to that group and STAY with your chaperone. Once you are out of costume, you need to check in with the chaperone for your next role.
PARENTS AND DANCERS:
NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED TO STAY AT THE THEATER BETWEEN PERFORMANCES!!!!!!
Once you leave the theater you may not come back until your call time. Please arrive on time to pick your child up, so we can all get a well deserved break. You may drop your child off NO MORE THAN 15 minutes before their call time. Party girl call times are 30 minutes before makeup calls - plenty of time to curl your/their hair.
I appreciate your cooperation in this matter!
CHAPERONES:
It is very important that you keep your group together. You are responsible for the dancers in your care; making sure they get to wardrobe/makeup on time, getting them down to the stage when they are called and back to wardrobe when they have finished dancing, cleaning up and getting ready to go AS SOON AS they return to the 5th floor (no dawdling), and, most importantly, providing a safe and secure environment. Please focus on your group - you should be with them as they arrive and stay with them until they are ALL released.
