Weekly Business - 9.30.14

I have posted the schedule for Saturday, October 4 under "Quick References."  If your child has time between Nutcracker rehearsals, she/he may stay at the studio as long as the wait time is 90 minutes or less.

Please note, there are two parent meetings - one at 2:00 and one at 3:00 - set for this Saturday.  These meetings are not mandatory; they will be focused toward new parents, although everyone is welcome!  I will go over some of The Nutcracker details and answer any questions you may have.

PAPERWORK IS NOW PAST DUE!!!  If you have not turned in your paperwork, please bring it to the studio the next time your student has class.  You may hand it to Karin.

NUTCRACKER Business

Thank you all for a great first Saturday!  I have posted next Saturday's schedule to the right under "Quick References."  Click on the link to see the schedule, then click "Return to Blog" when you are finished.  You should be able to print out the schedule using the "Print Friendly" button at the bottom of the document - either directly to a printer or saved to your desktop.  Let me know if you have any issues.

Apparently, DaVinci School is participating in Outdoor School beginning October 26 - the same day as costume fittings.  If your child will be attending Outdoor School, please check the schedule and let me know ASAP if you have a conflict with Sunday, October 26.

I will be handing out packets at the end of your SOBT class today and tomorrow. The schedule for this Saturday's rehearsal will be posted on the blog and at the studio later today.

OBT's Nutcracker Auditions

OBT's Nutcracker auditions will be held tomorrow, Saturday, September 13 from 2:00pm - 5:30pm for Level 1 - Level 5 SOBT students.  

Wear appropriate SOBT class level attire.  All dancers must re-enter the studio through the front entrance.  Please exit the building after your Saturday class.  The front doors will open at 2:00pm for registration.

INTENT FORMS DUE TODAY

Please remember to turn in your "Intent to Audition" form today.  Yes, you may still come to auditions if the form is turned in late, but it is extremely helpful, if we have your form as soon as possible.

AUDITIONS NUTCRACKER 2014

REMEMBER TO TURN IN YOUR INTENT FORM FOR "THE NUTCRACKER" AUDITIONS!

The doors will open on Saturday, September 13th at 2:00 pm.

Please note:  Rehearsals will begin Saturday, September 20th and continue every Saturday until December 13th.   (With the exception of Saturday, November 29^th, instead we will rehearse Sunday, November 30^th.)  Weekday afternoon rehearsals may begin the end of October through November.  We will also hold fittings on Sunday, October 26^th.  After the Thanksgiving Day Weekend you can expect to rehearse every day until we open on December 13^th.  Performances for the Nutcracker run December 13 – 27, 2014.  **Performances extend beyond Christmas Day**  

Dancers are expected to be at every rehearsal.
