HAPPY NEW YEAR!
The Nutcracker shirts have arrived! I will be in the office Thursday and Friday from 10:00 - 4:00, if you would like to stop by and pick yours up. You may also pick up shirts when you are at the studio next week.
If you missed the deadline or changed your mind about ordering a shirt, I will be placing a second order on Friday, January 10th. Order forms will be at the SOBT reception desk or under "Pages".

HAPPY HOLIDAYS - NOTE from GAVIN
Congratulations, everyone, on an absolutely splendid 2013 OBT
Nutcracker season! We finished this run with a record low number of
illnesses, injuries, or unforeseen problems, but that's less important than the
beautiful, spirited performances you delivered on stage.
This season posed challenges that I knew would require extra dedication and commitment from everyone involved, and I couldn't be more gratified by how far above and beyond the call of duty so many people went. From my wonderful students to their sacrificing families to our new school and company directors, and perhaps most of all, our amazing Children's Coordinator, Shari!, support and cooperation have been constant and plentiful. And that's the reason why we not only "made it" through this performance run, but triumphed.
Many dancers had to do every performance, frequently multiple roles per show, and sometimes danced more than one place in a single dance. I know how hard that was. Your enthusiasm and positive spirits were so much appreciated.
And the performances were excellent! (Even though I gave notes....) I was truly pleased and proud of every one, and every one of YOU. I hope you are all feeling the same way! You should be very proud of your hard work and dedication. Being in The Nutcracker at this level of professionalism as a child is an experience that changed MY life, and I hope you also take away lessons, memories, and impressions that will be with you forever.
THANK YOU!
Have a happy, healthy, and restful break, and I wish everyone the happiest of New Years!

Miscellaneous Notes:
POLICHINELLES - CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELVES! ALL wipes must be thrown in the garbage and ALL bobby pins put back in the boxes. It is not the responsibility of the wardrobe crew to clean up after you!
I noticed tonight the wipes are gone, you will need to bring some from home and bring them down to the fourth floor for the quick change. Then put the used wipes in the garbage. (Where do the used wipes go?)
Photos went well tonight. We will continue tomorrow; if you have a role that you are only in on Tuesday, please let me know. I have posted the order form under pages, so you can copy and print or pick one up from the stage door chaperone.
Orders are due Tuesday, Dec 24th; photos will be handed out in January.
Great job tonight - Let's do it again tomorrow!
