Rehearsals on Monday and Tuesday will take place at the OBT Studio.
Beginning Wednesday, we move into the Keller Auditorium. The backstage door entrance is located on Clay Street at the corner of SW 2nd Avenue. The information is in your packet.
Packets went out yesterday. I hope you have had time to read through the information. I would like to highlight a few items:
- Warm-up classes are for Levels 4 and up and Level 3 dancers who are Polichinelles ONLY. We have a large group and we are in a small room, so there will be no exceptions.
- At the bottom of each day's casting, there is a "Lobby Kids" role. Please check to see if your name has been added. This year in lieu of a photo booth, we will have a mouse, a soldier, a sugar plum fairy, and a prince wander around the lobby allowing patrons to take pictures and ask questions. Call times for the "lobby kids" can be found on the "Production Call Times" Form. Dancers called are either Angels or Soldiers. If you do not see your name and you would like to participate, please send me an email.
- Dressing rooms: most dancers will be together in a "holding" room until they are called down to wardrobe. There is NO privacy, so all dancers must come to the theater with their SOBT attire or required attire under their clothes. (Requirements can be found in the packet that went out in September - also on the blog.) There are separate rooms - one for Chinese Tea and Maids and one for Candy Canes. The ONLY girls in these rooms will be the dancers performing in that show! I expect the rooms to be spotless every night when you leave. If they are not kept clean, you will lose the privilege of having a private room.
