Please note: This week Angels will be rehearsing later in the day.
Also, with the Fall Rep - OBT25 opening Saturday evening, we ask that Polichinelles be picked up PROMPTLY at 6:45!
Thank you to all who came to the parent meetings. If you were not able to make it, here are a few highlights:
We went through the paperwork that has been handed out, as well as paperwork yet to come:
*Dancers are expected to be at ALL rehearsals.
*Thanksgiving weekend rehearsal will be on Sunday instead of Saturday. Enjoy a three day weekend!
*Casting and performance schedules will be released the week after Thanksgiving.
*If a rehearsal conflicts with an SOBT class, rehearsal takes priority. We will contact the teachers and let them know.
We talked about the performance dates and times:
*A few studio rehearsals and technical rehearsals will require early release from school. If needed, I can provide a letter for the school.
*All dancers are called to the theater through the final dress rehearsal.
*If your child is not in a performance, they do not need to come to the theater. However, they must be available to fill in if their double is sick or injured.
*Chaperone forms for the performance will be handed out with the casting. Please fill in all available dates. You will only be asked to chaperone if your child is performing.
Wardrobe issues:
*Shoes must be canvas.
*No earrings should be worn onstage unless it is part of the costume. Contact me if you have a special circumstance.
*Pictures for hair will be posted to the blog. Tip for Angels: begin the braids above the ears. (You'll understand once you see the picture.)
Misc:
*We discussed Nutcracker T-shirts. If you would like to help make this happen, please contact me.
*I will add an RSS link to the blog for those savvy enough to know what it is, unlike ME!
